Hi Viv! This is neither funny nor interesting but I love your fashion advice and I’m hoping you can help me out :) I live in super humid and hot weather, and I’m trying to branch out from just wearing the same T-shirt and denim shorts everyday. I know going by “aesthetics” isn’t like, the best thing to do, but I’ve always liked the light academia-style, especially since I’m studying to become a librarian. I also like the whole, “archeologist” kinda vibe? But tailored to fit my environment.
Ran out of space in the last ask but essentially, I’d like to dress like Milo from Atlantis if he was a masc girl, lol. I wanna look like I can set off on an expedition to unbury dinosaur fossils and find the secret tomb of some powerful deity, while also looking like I’m just on my way to a cafe to read a book and chill. This is like superrr specific so I understand if you can’t find anything, but thank you for your help!
I am in love with this hyper specific aesthetic. I live for it. The more detailed stuff you can give me, the more fun I have hunting and narrowing down.
So we have Milo from Atlantis as a masc girl, future librarian, archeological expedition, on-the-way to the Cafe for tea 😍😍
But! It needs to be hot weather safe.
Obviously we’re doing strictly earth tones. Browns of every shade, greys, dark greens.
We need fabrics that scream academia and archeology - cotton twill, linen, tweed.
We need short sleeves and fancy shorts. Its a spin on milo so we’ve gotta have tanks, high waisted options, and even suspenders (when done tastefully) aren’t out of the count.
Things to get into your closet: brown button downs (long and short sleeve), light brown womens trouser shorts, plain off white tshirts, mens trousers, earthtone tanks.
We want to accessorize with brown leather; belts, shoes and boots, shoulder bags. If you want to push the envelope and elevate, consider mens gold rings.
Here is your inspiration!
